The Metamorphosis of a Space
Recovering Albinyana's story has been an exciting process. What was originally a cold, dark industrial warehouse in Terrassa became the canvas for a major architectural challenge: a change of use to create a two-story family home. Thanks to new process records, we can now see how the structure was gutted and reimagined from scratch to house life where there was once only storage. The challenge was to provide warmth, ventilation, and a residential logic to an industrial container, completely transforming its DNA.

Functionality and Comfort
The home was planned on two levels under one premise: absolute functionality. On the ground floor, the heart of the house beats in an open area that connects the living room with a modern kitchen with clean lines. Here we also located a guest room, a full bathroom, and a renovated garage to facilitate daily life. Going up the iconic staircase, the first floor is reserved for family privacy with two additional bedrooms and another bathroom. Every square meter was optimized so that a family could inhabit it with total comfort, integrating modern systems into a structure that was previously unable to house them.
Two floors designed for the family: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, garage, and an intelligent distribution. We optimized every square meter to create a functional and cozy home.
The Urban Oasis
The real treasure of Albinyana is found when crossing the threshold to the outside. In a dense urban environment, we managed to generate an oasis of tranquility. Maximizing the garden space was key: we designed a custom pool that integrates perfectly with the surroundings, turning the backyard into the lung of the house. In addition, a sunny and private terrace was projected on the upper floor, accessible directly from the garden, which completes this exterior refuge. Albinyana is not just a house; it is proof that with a clear vision, an old warehouse can become the perfect refuge in the middle of the city.
