The Starting Point
When we first set foot in this house in Matadepera, it was clear that it had been waiting decades for a second chance. Fragmented and obsolete spaces that required total reimagining. The challenge was not just aesthetic; it was major surgery to adapt an old structure to the needs of a modern family, maintaining the area's character but elevating its functionality to the 21st century.

Interior Surgery
The interior intervention was total. We demolished partitions, redistributed spaces, and gave the house a new floor plan that responds to how people live today. New rooms were created, an integrated kitchen that acts as a social heart, and the plumbing and facilities were completely renovated. What was once dark and closed is now a fluid space where light is the main character.

The House that Shows Itself
On the exterior, the transformation is resounding. The main entrance door changed location, gaining prominence and fluidity regarding street access. A large sliding glass opening was installed that connects the interior with the garden, making that transition one of the most powerful moments of the house. A full terrace was built that extends the living space outdoors. The back garage was intervened from top to bottom: cracks repaired, leaks sealed, walls painted, and a new handcrafted carpentry door that is now one of the most striking details of the set. The main facade regained its presence with new openings, careful proportions, and a finish that gives the house exactly the image it deserves.

The Finished Interior
We worked comprehensively throughout the interior of the home, with all the corresponding installations, raising and tearing down walls, changing the bathrooms, adding an en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom, and redistributing all spaces as the client desired.
