Bon Aire.
The Great Emptying
Bon Aire 16 began as an exercise in constructive archaeology. We found a home suffering from the weight of years, literally: the floors accumulated up to three overlapping layers of old tiles. This excessive weight had begun to sink the floor slabs of the first and second floors, pushing the wooden beams to the limit of their resistance. Our first great battle was to free the house from this load, removing tons of rubble in a technical demolition process that required complex logistics.
We freed a structure overloaded with 3 layers of old floors that were sinking the original beams.

Naked Structure
With the house already lightened, the true soul of Bon Aire began to emerge. We have left the original wooden beams fully exposed for their treatment and reinforcement, ensuring they become the main characters again without past risks. The back garden has also begun its transformation, recovering its color and becoming a clear space that now allows for much more efficient interior workflow. We are installing new technical floors and preparing all the drainage and facilities infrastructure.
Reinforced beams, renovated garden, and brand new service infrastructure under a sanitized structure.

Towards a New Home
The metamorphosis of Bon Aire is already palpable. What was once a labyrinth of dark walls and sunken floors is now beginning to take the clear form of a contemporary home. We are working on the interior divisions phase, where each partition is placed thinking about maximizing the natural light that now floods the floors. Although crucial stages remain, the sense of spaciousness and security that the house transmits is total.
New divisions and wide spaces bathed in natural light that define the contemporary character of the house.
Recovering the security of a structure is the first step in creating a home that lasts.

The Final Project
Our roadmap for Bon Aire is based on a design proposal that balances the warmth of wood with the sobriety of modern design. These renders represent the original idea that guides our intervention: open spaces, fluid connection with the garden, and a palette of natural materials that pay tribute to the environment of Sant Esteve Sesrovires.
Final vision: balance between wood, light, and modern design in a privileged natural environment.
