The Original State

The main challenge consisted of transforming an old and excessively compartmentalized premises into a modern and fluid commercial space for a signature clothing store. The intervention required comprehensive structural and aesthetic work throughout its interior, completely renovating walls, ceilings, and facilities to discover and enhance the true breadth and height of the premises. The goal was to eliminate any trace of the building's dark past to make way for a blank canvas where light and materiality were the absolute protagonists.

First Progress

Once the premises were cleared and old partitions removed, the space began to breathe for the first time in decades. Natural light, previously blocked by unnecessary walls, began to bathe every corner of the interior, revealing a much more generous volume than we imagined at the start. The new facade, executed with dark carpentry and large glass panels, not only modernized the exterior presence of the premises but established an immediate dialogue between interior design and urban life.

Carpentry Craftsmanship

The essence of this transformation resided in artisanal woodwork. We decided not to build opaque walls but to use large custom carpentry structures that divided zones while maintaining visual connection and the passage of natural light. The wood provides the warmth and structural honesty that the premises were crying out for, turning the boutique into a cozy and sophisticated space.
